Trouble starting the VZ

Hey Ive recently had a few troubles starting the VZ.


The first time I goto start it it just turns over. It will do it for a few seconds then I have to try again and it works fine the second time. I was thinking it might be the immobiliser but ive made sure the key has contact etc. and it has battery charge. Now when it starts its idling rough as guts for a few seconds before it works normally.


Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the fuel pump but then again Im not that great with mechanics.

not sure if this will fix the problem, but i dont turn "on" my car straight away, i 1st turn the key into the position accessories so everything turns on, battery checks etc, leave it in that for about 2 or 3 seconds, and then start it.
