Hey peoples went down to winton yesterday for the opening test day of the V8's was a good day got tonnes of pics, but have not posted any yet have to do all the resizing, got some good pit lane photos an advantage of being friends with a team lol, so will get them up as soon as possible

Thanks for that mate ... I gotta admit that after having a dummy spit about how crap the HRT cars looked at launch ... they look pretty damn good in these shots !!!

Great Photos, as I said some of the paint schemes look fantastic.

Is it just my eyes or have the Ford Number 5 and 6 cars got flared front wheels arches or at least larger flares than usual?

The HRT cars look a lot better here than they did in those previous photos. Still not sure about the drivers name being on the window. Some of the names are hard to read. The headlights on the FPR cars look like a bit of a preview of the new Falcon possibly.

The Toll HSV , BOC, And that green Bottle-O cars look the best..

Not 2 sure on the Jack Daniels cars.. Think i liked them better in all black..

Roll on Adelaide in a fortnights time :) Here is hoping that the Televised race is outstanding..

Any early front runners? I heard that Tander set the fastest pace for the day.. Which is encouraging for the HRT Boys...

Also love to see the Toddler do well with his new JDR team.. Bring on 2008!

hey the camera i was using was a nikon D40X using both a 18-55mm lense but most shots were taken with 55-200mm lense that came with the camera.

Nice photos Macca. HOw was the carpark at the back of the HRT TOLL teams.
Out fo 12 cars parked in the immediate vacinity, 7 were E series GTS' and a lonely R8 thrown in for good measure.

Great shots Maccas....appreciated muchly.

Anyone noticed Toll does not look as prominent on the HRT cars as it does on the HSV car (outlined in orange).....mmm me thinks Toll will say something about this to Mr HRT.

The bottlo is gonna be very happy with their sponsorship as their fluro green cars stand out like the proverbials. Hope they don't crash though...not good publicity:cheers::beer::burnout::driving::rofl:

Maccas got any photos of GRM/Lee Holdsworth? He was my smokey last year and did pretty well.

Fantastic part of the season new paint and new cars with everyone trying to work out who's the quickest etc....roll on Adelaide.
