VS IRS or non IRS

hey..

dunno how to use the search function so i dunno if this has been asked already but..

i have a Series 1 VS berlina, is that an IRS or non-IRS?
cos i wanna get an exhaust, but need to know which one it is first.

AFAIK the VS were mixed. Some were, some weren't.

Just get under and check it... Easiest way :D

I suspect it's IRS on a Berlina but all you've got to do is bend down and have a look!! :doh: It is very easy to tell. If you have a solid axle from hub to hub then it's non IRS........ (We've had an Exec and an Esteem in VS and both non IRS.)

there should be a badge under the radio that should say irs.
If not get someone to sit in the car and put in park and then in drive, if it squats, then you have irs if it doesn't then you dont
