Hardtop opinions

hey i got a vy ss ute and i goin in tomorrow to order my hard lid and i thinkin of the of the vz thunder hard top because for this town it a lil bit different... i was just wondering ppls opinions on the flat hard lid or the Thunder hard lid...

I too was faced with this decision not long ago. I end up going the flat one. the humped one doesnt look right to me. Kinda like it doesnt suit the lines of the VY/VZ. but thats my opinion and you should just choose what you think looks the best. It is your car after all.

The twin hump lid IMO looks silly, makes the arse end of the utes look too chunky and the small 'lip' that has been attempted to mould in looks ridiculous.

only an opinion from my point, I reckon the standard hardlid with laser cutout and perspex of holden badge or something would look ok.......

Have a look at my humps (oooh sounds dirty:lol:) on my VZ, I reckon they look awesome, I don't like flat lids anymore but hey that's just my opinion.

Only thing is, I am tall so I have no vision problems, but I reckon a shorter person would have trouble looking over the humps, to change lanes for example. I only say that because I did actually have to raise the seat a bit to see over them, but I wouldn't have them any other way, I reckon they look sweet.

I had the flat lid. The thunder lid reduces visibility too much for me.
