ok i got a LS1 VT with an open 3.46 diff, need a replacement either today or tommorow

i have been on the phone all day and have gathered this info
VX+ use a 3 bolt triangle flange to connect to tail shaft
VT SII uses 4 bolt round

now what does a VT S1 use and is it compatible to swap with mine?

i know to fit a VX+ i will need the diff and tail shaft correct?

now if a VT S1 are a straight swap what stops me from useing a VS diff then?

i have called 40 places today accross aus and every one says somthing different its doing my head in!

Cheers, Nath

VS VT1 and VT2 all use a common flange. Bolt in proposition.
The VS diff is slightly smaller as it uses a smaller crownwheel.
Those using 4.11 ratios are using VS diffs.

If i am thinking correct, a vs 4.11 diff with a vt2 tailshaft should fit in a vx. Am i correct or wrong with what im thinking?

ok, so that means in my VT SII i can use a VS LSD Diff?
and in saying that i could use any previous one as long as its IRS?

Cheers guys!!

Answers anyone? i wanted to buy one today.

Cheers, Nath

VS wont bolt up to VT SII because of the casing is different sizes but it will bolt up to a S1 VT, some one should really make a sticky out of this as it is a really confusing topic..
