What a day!

Everything was perfect (bar the rain at the start of the day)!

Thanks Sonny for getting me my 1.90 60ft 12.4 114mph in factory trim, VERY happy with it! Became consistent 12.4 @ 113.5mph after a few hours playing with different techniques. I missed third on my last run after pulling a 1.83 60ft, which would have had me a 12.2 or very very low 12.3, but had to leave at 1. Started the day at 12.8 @ 109mph, so thats 5mph and 4 tenths just with some practice!

Tony and I had a few runs and we were both inching closer and closer to the 11's only splitting the cars buy a hundredth or so a couple of times. He seemed determined to crack it and did. well done Tony.:)

Mine "accidentally" did a 10.976 and 123.2mph launching in 2nd gear. It was its maiden run with a 100 fwhp dry shot of NOS. I never would have expected it to do a 1.569 60 footer with in 2nd gear. My Nitrous is programmed to start at 4000rpm and ramp slowly to 100% at 5000rpm.

Earlier it did 11.125 and 121 running properly and using a 60 shot.

NA it would have been running consistent low11.4/117 in the race trim it was in.

I was stoked with my 12.820 @ 117.66 in street trim (factory wheels and tyres) idling off the line. Best mph was 117.79. With a heavy wagon with a smallish cam couldn't ask for more.

Unfortunately I got in the wrong lane (2) and didn't get weighed. Last time it was 1850kg race weight, only difference this time I removed spare + cargo barrier. So around 1800-1820kg maybe?

Unfortunately my car wasnt ready for the day, many late nights by myself and Russos lead us to the Fri night before the Sunday with the car on the dyno, making good power everything was looking good until the nut came off the turbo compressor shaft and made a bit of a mess of it.

I was a bit disappointed until i got a call from Chris.."mate ive got a different engine in my car and need to do a few shakedown passes and check a few things, why dont you drive mine"

Woohoo :smilesandbanana:, i was racing again! What a fricken beast it is, ive never driven a car so much fun. The engine makes so much power it sounds like a pro stock engine!,The power killed the convertor straight away and Chris spent the rest of the day trying to fix a mechanical issue via the laptop so no fancy no's were run but we needed to iron out the bugs before the nat's so it's all good.

i managed a 13.1 on semi slicks at 110mph :thumbsup:

much worse than my first run on 20s last time which resuled in a 12.5

followed it up with a 12.7 and decided to go and smoke the tyres at powercruise instead of making more of a fool of myself.

looks like it was hitting abit shy of 5psi boost. i guess thats what happens when you muck around getting 20x10s under the guards instead of getting your boost settings correct in a rush before an event. ohwell always next time.

Not in the same league as others here but I ran a best of 13.0 @109mph with a 2.0 60ft. This was my 1st time at the drags and my Monaro CV8-R ran in 100% street trim, exactly as I drove it in. Full weight, street tyres/ pressures, filter in and reasonably firm settings on my coil-overs. I didnt do any burnouts and just drove it off the line. Unfortunately a few of my crap launches took their toll on the clutch and it was slipping badly but I felt there was a 12 in it which I think is really good for a car with just tune, exhaust, intake and gears.
