Geez, got a big filter on it!

I wonder though, the back being so flat, if that would reduce the air velocity?

I'd be inclined to think that this 'Xtreme OTRCAI' would be stealing a lot of much needed air from the radiator.

That combined with the fact that no matter how big the opening is, the air still has to cramm through that hole which is the same size as an ordinary OTRCAI.

the radiators can take it. they dont need that much.

i dont think it would flow very well though.

Good idea in regards to air volume, but I'd have to agree and think it wouldn't flow that well. The common ones have a single flow to them. That's got to to go up and then over??

This is a strange introduction to an OTR that has not been seen. Sounds like a bit of inside promo (which isnt bad).

It looks very nice ... where did you "come across" this intake? Any links / further info?

They actually work quite well. I tuned a mates car the other week and he had got one of these off ebay. it was actually quite good quaility(suprised me) and finished well too. It has a large k&n filter and the unit flowed quite well on the intake. The data showed it held max kpa upto about 5400rpm before dropping off a couple kpa but that was most likely due to the efficency of the rest of the package aswell. The few other otr cars iv tuned including sponsor made ones didnt appear to be any better or worse.
Im not aware if this otr has seen the track befor so its gains arent backed up there yet but in tuning and on the road it works just aswell as all the others, the otr also gave very good iat control for the sensor.

Im in no way affiliated with this product at all but i felt id speak up because i beleived it is actually a good product that works which really suprised me.
