Hey guys just wondering if any of you have had any comments or experiences with the new 07 cbr600rr? I'm looking at buying one in the next week or two in black.

Cheers Josh

Go park your ass on a Triumph Daytona 675 before you put your $$$ down. I like the CBR but LOOOOVE the Trumpy.

Even considered selling the ZX10 for one......but didnt. You lose bragging rights down the pub if you say you ride anything less than a ltr bike! haha

all the 600's in the class are fairly similar (the jap bikes anyway)

the CBR's are generally a very confortable and more user friendly bike than the others, but lack a little power. they make up for it in how easy they are to ride however

presonally i think they look too small and like a toy bike

the 600RR is a great bike mate, in saying that i dont like the look of the new shape... imo
but all in all a great one! if you like it you should go for it!!!

Apparently the 600RR is THE pick out of the 600SS bikes, handling-wise and general rideability...just that it's a Honduh

However judging by the writeups the 'new' '08 R6 has been getting, it may upstage the 600RR for the best-in-class title this year...

Yeah im not the biggest bloke in the world, nor the tallest and i fell in love with the CBR as soon as i saw it. I think a jump from a 250 straight to a 1000 is a bit much. They are bigger and heavier than the 600's also. I learnt on a 250RR and am just looking to upgrade. The 07 model is lighter shorter and more powerful than the older models and i have a good price on a brand new one ride away. Any toy bike good for 285k's is fast enough for me lol. Anyone rode one?

Mate I love the CBRs, the 600 will be an easier bike to upgrade to than a 1000cc especially from a 250 4 stroke. I think they are a bit pricy if you drop it, but they all are. When the new generation CBR600s came out they were smoking both the local and the international superbikes, so they cant be al bad. personally they woud be my pick, at the end of the day if you like the look of it and it feels comfortable to ride then go for it, dont go for every last hp of power as you will never use it on the road, nor will you use the most of the bikes performance.

I love the black

Yeah mate i was only ever going to get it in black haha. Going for a test ride of one tomorrow hopefully and maybe putting a deposit down depending how i like it. I have done a fair bit of research on them and ive heard nothing but good news. Especially from the 07 models. I cant wait to get back in the saddle though!!

My mate just got himself a 07 Honda CBR1000RR ( i know its not a 600RR) and its a great bike, looks wise they are very nice.
Apart from that i think they probably have similar body parts and it looks well build and OMG does it sound phat!

Im sure you will like the CBR.

Goes awesome mate. It's more of a toy for me so I don't put a lot of k's on it but i've never had a problem. She always starts first go even after sitting for a month and i've haven't even seen a hint of a mechanical problem.
I lashed out and bought the seat cowl and a tinted screen and it makes it look even sweeter. Next up might be a new exhaust....

Ive got an 06, love it, all they need is -1 tooth sprocket up front to bring them to life.

I rode the 07 two weeks ago for about 1hr-1.5hrs and loved it too, turns in like you wouldnt believer and nothing would throw it off line! Just felt a little dead down low compared to mine with the lowered gearing.

I've ridden the Trumpy 675 as well, would be awesome on the track but far to stiff and small for the road imo.
