Interested to know how wide the VX can fit as far as tyres go. My cars standard height (FE2) and want to go as wide as possible on the rear, what is the limit without scrubbing....even if i need to have the gaurds rolled/cut. Im looking into a 275/40/17 tyre but neve imagined it to clear?

I had to do some small mods to the guards to fit 255 Street ET's to the rear of my Clubby with standard FE2. I'd say you'd need some serious work to get 275's under.

I run 275/30/19's on the rear of my VU They do scrub on the drivers rear, need to get the guards pumped. Makes a nice difference to grip also :D

A mate runs 275's on his Vx GTS300 running the genuine rims, he has coilovers and she sits fairly low and it never rubs at all.
It will be the rim offset and profile you need to consider before fitting them l think.
