is the w427 badged a w427?

Does anyone really know what it is going to be called?

I know W stands for walkinshaw and 427 the motor but a a concept car, will it be released as a w427?

I've seen the car and it has w427 everywhere badged on it.

The reason for my question is I own the number plates that say W427 and I'm pretty excited if they do and I wonder how much they would be worth?

Maybe more dependent on whether Mugabe is at the auction or not

they are worth whatever somebody wants to pay for them, either advertise them best offer or buy the W427 and put them on it

afaik the W427 is called and badged just that, only specifically available in that colour with that trim, wheels etc. HSV may bring out other models such as GTS/R or GTS 427 with the same engine and driveline, in different color schemes from what im told this will depend on how the W427 sells

HSV have already stated in press releases that W427 is just the name of the display vehicle at the show. They also said the retail product, in it's final "adjusted spec" (yes, they said the specs may still change), will most likely NOT be called the W427

Yeah i was told also that it wil be called a GTS-R rather than W427.

I have it on good authority that the production model will not be called the W427. The W427 name was chosen for the 20th anniversary showcar , to coincide the partnership with Walkingshaw and HSV. The colour that is on display at the Melbourne motorshow, is a one of,and will not be available as an option on the production vehicle. Colours confirmed at this stage are Black,Silver and Red. I think HSV have another name in mind for this car and in MY opinion, it will not be the GTS-R either....Cheers John

plates will still be worth shedloads even if they dont call it that, as everyone will have a ..........(enter actual name here)........... but someone will have one with the showcar name on the plate and that will make u a tidy packet i would imagine.

Never really seen rego plates as a way of making a quick buck but just wanted to make sure I've got the right plate should the car come along.

I don't believe that the W427 as displayed at the MMS is the one for me.
