I went from the KHFL47HD to the KHFL47SL just recently. The HTG
measurement is 340mm or about 12mm lower than the HD's. I
have seen cars now with SSL in the front and wish I had gone
with them. Ride with the SL's is a little harsher than it was with
the HD's. Hope this helps :)

Hi,
If you're putting a KHFL-47SL into the front of a V6 VU ute, measure from the middle of the wheel straight up to the top of the guard, this spring will sit the car at a measurement of 345mm.

As stated in the original post, they are going in his VU SS, hence
why he is asking if they are ok for a VUSS being V6 springs :)

hey black ur measurment on your car is from the centre of the wheel cap to the HTG which is 340mm ,if that is correct then these springs will sit exactly where i want them, and that is tyre just under the guard lip about finger thickness to play with.
thanx makes life a little easier,i didnt wanna go to the trouble rooting around having to pull them back out if it sat too low ,u know what fuzz are like round here.:)

That is right mate, Centre of wheel cap (HUB) to bottom lip of Guard
is 340mm, and yes you can just jam a pointer finger in between
the top of the tyre and guard, it is a tight fit though.
Sounds like you have the correct springs for your desired ride height :)
