What current rating is the standard LS1 alternator on a 2000 model WH? Is this any bigger?

All VT onward alternators should be 140 Amp . The pinout for the exciter wires are different on these compared to the earlier models . The older model has a wire from + & the other goes to the light on the dash , On this model it has 1 of the pinouts go to the PCM ! Hope this helps !!
