Hi all.
After owning my ute since new, and various modifications on the way, i decided to go with a Harrop Supercharger.
Chris from Western Suburbs Mechanical Repairs has been tuning the car on the dyno for the last 12 months.
With just a cam and a great exhaust from Brad at Mr Muffler, Summner Park we managed to get the car to 367bhp running 13.2 @112.2............
This was done at Willowbank at the start of this month on 19" street tyres.
Absoulately crap 60ft times--------2.4 to 2.6..
It just so happened that Chris and i decided to purchase the 2.2l supercharger and 3 days later Harrop released the all new 2.3l
We believe that this is the first 2.3l fitted on a LS1 ute in Australia, or very close.
Anyway DYNO time.
All looked promising at the start with the first run making 267bhp @ 2500rpm.
A few more runs and Chris had it up to 401bhp@ 4000rpm and amazingly 700ftlb of torque.
After alot more adjustments, a slightly larger pulley as it was running 14 pounds of boost, it is now running 10, Chris has tuned it to these figures..
563bhp or 419.8kw rw with 810.1 Ftlb of torque.
