Hey guys and girls i am sure this question or variations of this question has been asked many times but i will ask anyways.

I am wondering what all you LS1 owners are running on Dyno RWHP or RWKW on relitavely standard engines (eg no cam head work, naturaly asp)

I have a VZ SS yet to run on the dyno has HM Headers Twin 2 1/2 Exh, MAF Tuned(running fairly advanced ignition timing) 6speed and am trying to get an idear of a good reading.

Anyways would be extremely interested hearing from you guys :jester:

Stock VT's could be as low as 170rwkw
Exhaust and tune maybe around 300-320fwkw/230rwkw

You have a nice car there all the same :)

A stock LS1 should make somewhere between 170 - 190RWKW.

An LS1 with a full exhaust + tune (no intake mods) should make 210 - 225RWKW.

Note: This is all dependent on how happy the dyno is and where they put the temp sensor.

i dont know much but dosent it depend on how tight the car is strapped to the dyno as well???

hey mate it all depends on the car i guess they can vary alot ls1's they average between 170 to 190, u mite be lucky and get a really good enigine, mine made 204rwkw stock as a rock, with the full di filippo 2.5" exhuast it was then 221 the mafless tune and otr it is now 250rwkw, they can all vary in power, but rwkw sumtime dont mean anything its how well the car has been set up is wat matters

Maybe on a DynoDynamics dynometer but not on a Dynolog with its weather station. :)

what do you call running fairly advanced ignition timing? or was that just what your tuner told you. I personly wouldnt want a knife edge tune

My ute when i first got it made 179RWKW that was in 03.

I was happy, but suppose it was because it was my first V8

My LS1 SV8 pulled 210kwrw on Sonnys, and 208kwrw on Sam's and 210kwrw on some other dyno stock as a rock. I put it down to how hard it was driven, it always had good fuel, broken in hard, and always driven like it should be  Now 5 years or so on and its a back up drift car with its new owner with not a single mechanical failure :smilesandbanana: (BLO-05L for those that know the drifters).
