VE HSV Wheel Size Question

OK, so I have the VE Clubby with 19x9.5 rears and 19.8 fronts...

My question is can the SS 18 inch wheels fit on the Clubsport? Or the SSV 19 inch wheels? Hell, even the Calais 17 inch wheels?

The reason I ask is I want a second set of rims I can get some track tyres for.... And I'm not sure of the HSV brake clearance for non-HSV VE wheels.

Is case you missed it NO nothing will fit...except for GTS wheels and tyres..

Talk to Stuckeys in Melbourne, they can supply you with Compomotive 18" rims in 8" & 9" widths that fit comfortably over the HSV VE brakes.
I just bought a set and they fit perfectly. If you look at their website they are the MO6 model.

I know they clear the AP racing brakes on an SSV which are similar in size to the HSV Brembos.

I called the local dealer today who didn't have a clue! Told me ALL Holden Commodore wheels fit all models. Even the VE wheels! Hahahahahahaha :D

Then he promptly tried to sell me some.

If I knew for certain the SSV rims would fit over the Clubby calipers, I'd buy these tomorrow!

The VE HSV's have AP Racing brakes not Brembos.

They won't fit the SSV wheels as there is bracket that moves them black AP's in closer, ask Sonny about the bracket as that all i know

There is an 18 inch aftermarket that fits over the VE HSV brakes, forum member turboadam has them on a VE Clubsport, they looked ugly but fitted.

Saw them in Adelaide when i purchased his VE Clubby rims and tyres.

It is also not just a case of new bracket, but hats also as if you move the caliper across the 12.7 mm to clear the wheels you also need to move the rotor across. VE HSV fron rotors are single piece so it would mean changing the whole rotor.

I would suspect that the SS or SSV OEM rims MIGHT clear on the rears of the VE HSV brakes.

those picks of the rims on the black SSV look familiar :stick: :lol:

put simply SS/SSV or any Holden rim WONT fit on a HSV apart from R8 & GTS wheels due to the brake size

the reason why i can fit the big AP Brakes on my SSV as pictured above with the SSV rims is because of the different hat and blocks for the front
