Hi gang! Just picked up my vy ss with only 35000 kays on the dial! A few stone chips but body in ex cond. Just put on a 3in cat back exhaust and want to get rid of the stock tyres and rims. So my query was what size can i get under the car thats not gonna give me trouble? Was thinking 20s but maybe when i dump it 19s might be better. Whats every1 else think?

Im running 235x19 front and 275 x 19 rear and doesnt rub at all.The offset of your rim will determine what size rubber you can run.

so on my vz clubbie if the offset is right i would be able to fit 275's on the rear.

I got 20X10 Intro Vista II 5's under mine with 275's had to pump the guards alittle but it works and doesn't scrub at all, also lowered 4 inches.

what sort of struts are most you guys running, and also the profile on the front as there is usually clearence issues wit hte struts as get expensive to find load rated and 35,30 profile tyres, ive got 19" and larger ultima struts so there is plenty of room but just dont want theses guys going and spending money on big wheels and not haver them fit up

i had 20s on my vy ss and it was a nightmare.
Because of how low it was, if u were to turn and brake it would hit the guard and the rears would rub as well.
If u dont want the car low then you would be fine.
I now have gone back to 19s and it is so much more comfortable to drive and no rubbing at all.
In saying that, the 20s did look very nice :D
Have standard fe2 struts and shocks on VS V6 Ultras in the front and BMW 318i rears
20s
