VZ Cruise Control stopped working

My c/ control on the ute stopped working on the way home today. It activates ("cruise" graphic) but when I twist the switch up and down nothing happens (lack of "cruise on" graphic) and it doesn't kick in. Before I ring the service dept, is there anything else I can check besides plugs, relays, fuse etc.?

In the earlier series if one of the tail light or blinkers was farked it would for some reason stop the cruise working

i also heard(not sure how true this is) possibly the brake switch behind the pedal?

Usually the pedal switch.
For the future, this is clearly a "technical" question, so should be asked for in the relevant section.

good question i have the same problem u can activate it but when u flick resume up or down it does nfn it shit itself

ive had this problem before, i accedently kicked the switch on top of the cluch pedal with my foot and it had come out of the holder, i simply clicked it back into position and its been fine ever since.
if yours is an auto you oviously wont have a clutch pedal but on top of the brake pedal you have a similar switch, check to make sure its still in postion.
