Hey guys and girls,

Last night i went to the Perth Motor show and had fun taking some pictures of some very nice rides. From the pics you can tell which ones i liked or the ones i didnt :lol:

What suprised me the most/thoughts:

The coupe 60 in real life is even better than in the photos and the paintwork is freakin awsome :drool:

The GTR is a huge car but man it looks insane and the rear tips are freakin huge, puts the 4 SS tips to shame. This car is a stunner. :bow:

After seeing the new Ford in real life, the feeling is the fronts not bad, the interior i think is worse/on par with a Holden and the rear is ugly IMHO although i think the XR6 turbo is gonna be a big seller as thats all people were interested in, in the FORD area (i dont wanna start i fight please)

The SSV wagon is very nice and the voodoo colour under lights is very very nice, good choice to anybody who has picked this colour even without seeing it in the flesh

HSV's stand was poor, an R8 and the W427.

The W427 is very very nice, the wheels are way better looking than you think in real life although i think i was still blown away by the coupe 60 and GTR when i got it so...nice car but wasnt get huge attention when i was there. I think also a lot of people didnt know what it was :confused:

AND finally i still dont like the new STI/WRX subaru you have offically stuffed that car IMHO. :spew:

I just realised in photo 6 from the top, Ford is just keeping an eye on the coupe 60 :rofl: wishing they had one like it :lol:

I also went last night, my observations:
- I was pi55ed off by the makers who locked their cars (ie. HSV)
- I loved the Coupe 60, GT-R, F6
- I was surprised how much I liked the FPV F6 (Typhoon), kept going back for another look/sit. (at least FPV had their cars open to the public.
- Sad how much of a second rate Motor Show the Perth one is, didn't even have Mercedes or BMW.

I enjoyed that motorshow this year because of all the new cars there this time around but yes it still is a second rate motorshow, cars like merc bmw porsche and other werent there which id annoying.

yeah people like HSV had doors looked, like lexus and even some euros were locked as well which is a pain. the F6 is probably one of the better Fords but i still hate the rear end and too much body plastic for my liking. But yeah it was good to see they had their doors open.

Ive always wished I was a Millionare when I have been to these shows

Imagine have a spare 500k

spending the day there comparing the cars then buying/signing up for one, only down side is you wouldnt be able to drive it or start it up, but im sure they could organise somthing for you lol

it would be such a thrill of seeing all the diffrent types of makes and models on display and not having to drive to one dealership after another,it would be all under one roof

Yeah thats it mate, its like test driving all the cars at once but without actally starting them up :lol:

My brother and sister (twins) get there license within 6months to a year depending on when they wanna go for it so they went to check out some good first cars, you know small ones, hatchbacks :lol:

My sister loves the Astra turbo but she cant drive manual so thats out, the little 208's (i think) are not bad either, nice interior too. My brother liked the hummer haha i told him to save his pennies and buy a GTR :bow: and he responded with "whats that?" :doh:

This C30 Volvo has a not too bad front end but the rear is so fugly really not my style car anyway

The engine shot is from whats called a Ford GT40 (i think because its only 40 inces high), now im a short arse but i stood right over it and made it feel like a toy car :lol: When you sit in the low racing seats i reckon you arse would be touching the cats :lmao:

The old ferrari was nice and so was the F430 but i prefer the leather interior to this one, the maserati GT also was very nice :smilesandbanana:

i know this is a bit late but only really had a chance now to get through my photos on the camera.

another year of the motor show and another year it was a massive overpriced disappointment.
only real reason this year to go was the:
Coupe60:drool::drool::drool::drool: no words can describe how insane this car is.
and also the GTR was the other reason...
