First of all thankyou for a great facility.
My VT spits out a "service vehicle soon" message after idling for about 10 seconds. It also disappears after driving for 10 seconds, (pain in the bum in stop start traffic). I am after some background on a probable cause so that I don't get led up a garden path by a dealership.

Is it the engine light? VTs didn't have text based displays so I doubt it would give you this exact message.

Normally caused by faulty oil pressure sensor, a DTC check will show where the problem is.
