Guys after reading many of the public threads I am certain that there are a lot of people on this site claiming to have or own holdens but every post is definately pro ford and anti holden.
I know many of us are also members of the ford forum, to check out the enemy me included, but they are teaming up to bag us on our own site. It is fairly obvious to me that they are laughing at us.

I disagree.
Its a forum for discussions.
Obviously as we are having so many problems we are getting slaughtered.
We were having a field day before the BA was released.
Its just the way the ball rolls!

...... Agree, if there is a prob with anyone getting out of hand they just have the post deleted, then banned if still outacontrol. :p
But still .... this is why its important for the right validations for the private section.
Personally I much prefer some considered opposition than blind one eyed support. Could you imagine this forum if every thread was... "Holdens are a great car.. lovem".. repeated 20 or 30 times? I welcome some intelligent debate - gives me the opportunity to learn and consider situations from a different angle.
The only spies I worry about here are those looking to mark cars for theft. Holden warrantee voiding spies are less of a worry - and not only because I am out of warrantee! I take the approach that Holden shouldn't have to pay for repairs for abuse damage or things caused by after market modifications. (There are lots of grey areas in that last comment - I was only using it as an example.)

Constructive critism I agree with and yes I agree with most of the comments here but When a new member posts one of his first posts about which car to buy and is bombarded with dont buy a holden buy a ford I get a bit pissed off.

Send an email to moderators (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/sendmessage.php) and let us know which thread in particular if you are referring to one incident.... because in case you hadent noticed the moderators have been getting critisism lately by members for removing such posts.

Fancy that, someone else besides Holden makes a decent car...... no way!!!
Maybe some members are just not as one-eyed as others?:p

Typical, Cobra's post has just proved my case.
And for your information I am not one eyed, my other car is a ford.
All I want is for the forum to be constructive and not blatently one eyed without the proof to back up your statement.
I know everyone has there say but i am happy that the moderators are looking at it.

Moderators, can I ask one more question about validation.
How does a guy driving an ford cobra get validated on a 'Holden' site? or is it a general car site now and not for the LS1.

Mate I was being sacastic not nasty, I'm a lover of all thing's bright and shiny weather it's waring a Lion a Blue Oval or a VW badge mate.
Opinion's vary champ and everyone is entitled to theirs.
You say your not "One Eyed", sure, read back over what you have posted, it's all about poor you and how your hard done by cause you own a Holden.
I too have owned my fair share of Holden's and worn flak for it, it's a part of being a car enthusiast, live with it or sell up and buy a Daewoo.
Perhapse the moderator's don't suffer from the tunnel vision you seem to and can be happy with all type's of vehicle owner's gracing their forums.
I was validated because I attended a few meet's and a cruise after being invited allong by some of your fellow Holden owner's, I meet the criteria and I was vallidated. If you want me out put it to the moderator's and have them eject me if not quit bleeting!!
I apologise If I have offended anyone but I too get upset with people attacking someone just because their opinion differ's from the majority of the group's. It's called life, deal with it!:vpo:
I never said you were "One Eyed" berlina.
Cheer's
Nathan.

People all get validated the same, regardless of car.

I have validated a lot of the "Ford guys" as I don't discriminate on what car people own. I mean, some people in the validated section don't even own a car!
I have actually met a lot of the "Ford guys" on cruises or meets, they are just like the rest of us, well the ones that I let on are. That is they are just as passionate about cars, plural. Anyone who is blindly being a pratt, point them out ssberlina and the moderators will do something.

Damn, sorry for posting after the closing bell, looks a bit dodgey of us moderators, though I was constructing my post at the time!
