View Full Version : Honda CB750 - late 70's early 80's
Hello,
Anyone with knowledge experience of these?
Looking at a first road bike, not for commuting or riding fast - just a cruiser. Will double as a bit of a introduction to motorcycle mechanics.
Any feedback appreciated!

They make a great chopper... a collectors bike that was chopped quite a lot in the 80's....

My old man just bought a '78 cb750 k7, will be picking it up this week. Got to do 1 or 2 things for rego then I'll take it for a spin. I had a look at it the other day and they are a bit of a tank, took two guys to get it off the centre stand. They are becoming more of a colectable now so i'd get one if you find one and if you don't end up liking it then chances are you will make money from it anyway.
Be interested to hear what you think of the ride.
Thanks for the feedback.

I had a CB 750F 1984 model
They are a damn good bike
Just make sure the valve shims are set up right or they can burn valves
The only reason I got rid of mine was a bloody semi trailer got in my road and tore it in half :flipoff: leaving me in hospital for 13 weeks

Try a CB400f as well if you can find a good one, best fun I ever had. Mine was a 76 model and was easy to ride and quick enough to be great fun. Look like a cb750 only smaller.
