View Full Version : where to buy a hardtop for VY SS?

ey guys
chasing up a hardtop cover for my VY SS ute
not fussed if its new or 2nd hand but wondering where to get them from?
looked on ebay and tradinpost and both have em for 1200 unpainted is that about right?
also if any advice where to get them cheaper or recommend that would be great

My genuine one was $2000 from Holden. Painted already. By the time you add freight and painting to that $1200, you wouldnt be far off the 2 grand i reckon..

Give JHP a call,got my ssz hardlid through them and was way cheaper than holden for the same product.

I got mine through ebay from HSP a few months ago for $1400 painted and delivered with everything required to fit. I was suprised when i took it out of the box it had the holden badge on the back and the HBD plate and serial number inside the lid.
Beats what Holden are selling them for.

Call up barloworld holden in glen waverley mate and speak to glen. He did mine a couple of years ago for $1500 straight over the phone. And then they fitted it for $100. They may be more expensive now as the vy/vz isnt a current model anymore.

If you have a choice get a genuine GM lid, either the flat style or the double hump from the VZ SS-Z. Some of the aftermarket lids fail, warp on the back corners and just fit poorly.

Check out proutes.com there is 1 4 sale on there now he wants $2000 but he offered it to me for $1200 its a vz ssz 1
