Monaro Gear Box upgrade - What should i do?

Just want to know if anyone has rebuilt their current box or replaced it with new one for a VX Monaro, not sure what to do as its running around 400HP and my standard one blew, no surprise but were to now, getting alot of different opinions? Any advise would be welcomed? The guys i deal with are putting a titanium or carbon fibre band on the new box? Its also an Auto.

This sort of question is definitely an "LS Powertrain" type question.
Type in "tough auto" or "strong auto", or for a heap of threads, simply "auto" will do, into the search section of that sub-forum, and you will find plenty of existing threads on auto issues and fixes.
