I just had my rear resinator taken off the std exhaust system on my vy calais much to my surprise it droped my fuel consumption from 18.3 to 16.5 in city peak hour travel. It sounds a little more like a V8 now but is still quiet which is good & it does not drone.Cost me $115 from midas & cheap way to lower fuel cost Has anyone had a result like this.

i got this done on the ve sv6 last week, took the rear exhaust off n replaced it with straight pipe. sounded great at idle and really tuff and menacing sound when you back off. but wen drivin around and with revs around at 3 to 4000 its sounds terrible from the outside and loud as hell in the inside. almost deffening.

hope this helps all upwith tips cost me $200 (needed 2 for the duellies)
