After reading through ST's thread about E85 (see here (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=99917)) i went on a bit of a look at the BP site to see if i could find any more info.
So far i haven't but thats cause i got sidetracked...

yeah I remember listening to a report on that stuff. Experts recond that it wont really curb the abuse but instead make them more desperate, they expect increased car jackings to occur just to get to the good stuff

It's called Opal Fuel, isn't it?
Still, your life would have to be pretty bad if sniffing petrol started to look like a good idea - it's bad enough just having to be near it when you refuel!

This thread reminds me of this joke ;
Tiger Woods is on his way to a golf tournament in Ireland. He is driving a brand new BMW.
He stops to refuel at a servo and as he hops out , a couple of T `s drop out of his shirt pocket. As he picks them up , the attendant walks up to him and asks :
" What are they?"
Tiger replies "They are T s"
Attendant asks "What do they do ?"
Tiger replies " They hold your balls , when you are driving"
Attendant replies " Those BMW engineers,they think of everything " :lol:
I know it might be an oldie :cheers:

It does get pretty bad in some places.... I rememeber some years back a guy in Warbourton, out near wa/nt border, was selling 600ml bottles of petrol for $50 :doh: That petrol must do some pretty bad stuff to your brain cells....

As a young fella I once went into a truckstop up near Cloncurry, and found the owner had a runner of 1L bottles of metho in the drinks fridge. Mmmm, tasty :eyes::spew:
