Forum Upgrade Issues / Requests 201112

Hi All,
this thread is to list any issues / problems / requests dealing with the major software upgrade. Please don't post general chit-chat in here, keep it specific and try and check to see if any issues have already been listed.

Simon.

• Thread font colours: Hard to read post contents with the current font colour of light grey. FIXED
• Some Avatars not displaying or displaying incorrectly. FIXED
• Tapatalk: It's on the "to-do" list and will be back. FIXED
• Search Function The search box is in the top left corner with the magnifying glass next to it.
• User CP UserCP is now called "settings" and can be found in the top links on every page.
• Forum Garage Will be online in the near future after it is configured and we gat a couple of people to volunteer to be Garage Moderators.

one suggestion is to change the colour of the font in posts in threads
a light soft grey against the blue background is very hard to read

compare this with the white font ..on the New Posts listing
easy as to read :)

nice white everywhere would be good

That will be good but then the box for replying to a post is white so that colour would need to change...

As a suggestion, since you have done some really good work and brought the Forum up to spec, put up a "Design a new LS1 Banner"

Give them the Dimensions required to fill the top bar properly. Maybe also the HEX Colour Codes that the forum is using to help things blend nicely.

Think it would be a nice finishing touch to the teams already good work.

ah yeah..thats true
will leave it to our Webmeister Sidey to finish with the formatting I guess

Also is it just me or are the technical sub forums gone?

probs already know but there's no search function or usercp to check subscribed threads

in the latest posts it would be good if there was a few more like there used to be

FYI - noticed the new My Vehicles in the profile section, but there is no classification for Holden listed.

The usercp is now called settings. There is a search and you can check subscribed threads in settings .. new version has a different layout .. :)

Ok well I have the Auto Media Embedding Software installed and you can now embed videos like youtube etc..

Could we have the stickys made to look a little more individual they tend to blend in with everything else.
