Anyone know the deails of the engine specs used in this catagory? The commentators stated that they are 310kw. I assume this would be at the treads as they seem quite quick. They sound tuff too....

i,d be thinking the 310kw would be at motor so basically an exhaust and tune on a stocker ???? could be wrong tho!!!! doing it this way would make it easier to keep a level playing field between us and them hahah!!!! cheers
Stock L98 everything, ss inductions cold air, pacemaker exhaust controlled tune on a motec ECU, doouble row timing chain allowed and modified sump. power wise 255rwkw
Jake,
I thought they changed the cams in both the ford and holden motors for parity reasons?
Cams are definetely stock at least in the holdens. Weight from memory was 1800kgish with driver
Jake,
Cams are stock, power is controlled with tuning to keep them even
Well they flogged the Holdens today....
Dont look at the engine as the reason it did though. Sure its better than the L98 but they are tuned for parity so its not an advantage... Well thats the theory anyway
Yeah they think the Ford rode the kerbs better and thus could pick up the throttle earlier...
They haven't. It's no longer a production car class if you will. The 5.0 N/A was completely done without ford AU support. They had to really for ford to stay in the class. Not like they could have them running stock GS engines. The Holden's wouldn't stand a chance
