Great vid but actually I think the sound might have been dubbed on after, the exhaust does not seem
to change volume and you hear very little wind or road noise at any speed.
And in some rain!
No it sounds good, from outside even better
I like that they are keeping the ls7 alive thru the camaro but this thing cost more than a lsa powered zl1!
Awesome vid and I think the sound is live, probably got the mic external near the exhaust.
You hear the tyres squeal from time to time.
Good one.
Nice brakes too, the big stop prior to the hairpin 140 to 50 mph really easy
Phil
The Z/28 looks to be a far more track focused package than the ZL1. The Z/28 has a fair bit of interior trim removed and has a dry-sump LS7 instead of the wet-sump LSA and most importantly it also has carbon ceramic brakes (the brakes are probably where the extra cash goes, they aren't cheap). Ther Z/28 keeps all the cooling kit as per the ZL1 so they have made a big effort to keep it reliable on the track.
Below is a link featuring many of the specs of the Z/28.

Reading the review on Autoblog. They say Chevy repeatedly told them this car is not to be used as a daily drive.
Now this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-w8gJP-9Gc is a Nurburgring on-car vid....Sadly displaying the considerable expertise of young Sean Edwards who was killed at QR last weekend in a GT3
 that is very noice.....19x11 and 19x11.5 rims phat !!!
LS7 with 3.91 rear end diff mmmmmmmm
Oh and apart from the chev badge the steering wheel looks the same as in my VF....
