Greetings, everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself and my humble 2004 GTO. I've had a craving for one of these fine Australian products for a few years, and I was finally able to afford a nice GTO with 85,000 miles. It's black on black with an automatic transmission and is almost completely stock as of now. I am really impressed with the car, and have to say congrats to you guys - you can build some nice cars.

Nice choice, spend a few hours detailing that paint and it will look a million bucks. I only say that because of the way the water is hanging onto it in the photo.
Welcome DT! I've loved the humble GTO and can't believe what you guys paid for them compared to us...
Where in Texas are you? I've got mates in Austin (Creedmore actually) and love the drive up to Canyon Lake from New Braunfels.
I also spent some time in San Antonio for a work conference.
I am in Amarillo, but my dad lives right outside of Austin in Cedar Park. Moving up from a 2002 Mustang GT to the GTO was a revelation. The Mustang had every rattle, shake and annoying noise you can imagine, and the GTO seems rock solid in comparison. Now when I drive the mustang it seems hopelessly crude and flimsy. The original price was pretty high, but I got this for $10,000, so fortunately for me these cars are not yet highly sought after collector cars, although I think that will change in a few years.
