Appears if you live in NSW are probably getting the rough end of the stick as there are only a few good ones there apparently!

Have bought 3 cars from City Holden SA in the last 2 years, and must admit they have been pretty good.
Interesting only 1 WA dealership made Grand Masters list out of the 32 and 5 Victorian dealerships out of the 6 received the Chairmans Award. The dealer I have used in Brissie made the list :goodjob:
.. nearly fell of my chair when i read this list... with the top dealer being shown as here in Elsternwick
in my experience, I would rather buy a car from a dealer interstate rather than those rogues
never do what they promise, appalling customer service (well.. actually no customer service in my experience)
a mate of mine WAS the new car sale manager at that stealership, he left because he couldn't change the culture there
(it came from the top)
The lack of NSW dealers in that list has made me feel a little better. Here I was thinking I was just being picky..
Looks like I'm heading outside metro areas next time (QLD).
It is good to see some can get it right. I'd love to know what as a percentage that is for all dealerships or how many fall below the line.
I'd like to know the weightings of the different criteria.
For example if the performance is out of 100 and sales volume is worth 50 and customer satisfaction is worth 10, you could potentially have a dealership which sells to a lot of fleet buyers who are uttery hopeless with aftersales service who still rate highly.
This is why when the Calais is up for replacement, will contemplate buying interstate. Not dealing with McGraths, Suttons Arncliffe or Suttons City ever again..:yup:
I bought mu 06 VE SS from them good to deal with, but I found southgate even better. Several in sa are terrible
Sometime I think its just the salesmen that make it good bad, never had any of my VEs back for a service(apart from warranty work) just don't trust them.
I can't recommend city Holden enough either from a servicing point of view. Never over charged me and explained everything to me. Knowing I was an enthusiast meant they didn't try the bs.
Blackve I certianly hope you mean Southgate are good from a sales point of view because their servicing skills are non existent , I wouldn't even let them service my enemy's lawn mower. They cost me countless dollars "fixing" my car, after the third attempt to fix the same problem, the car didn't even make it out the carpal before it lunched itself bad apparently it was my fault.
Geez our local Mildura Holden has come a long way - from being utterly shit (treating potential customers especially rough looking blockies with wads of dollars like crap for 25+ years), to getting a gong for good service. I've always only dealt with parts, and the same bloke has been there (and giving superlative service; one of those old school types who knows pretty much every part for every model off the top of his head) for the 10 years I've owned em.
Ironically the franchise was taken over and is now operated by the local Ford dealer :D

Very generous campaign :goodjob:
