o2 sensor fault codes

i had a engine light a while ago. Got it looked at when i got the car serviced.
The mechanic said that i ( i think) bank 1 needs new o2 sensor front and back.

I had that done. He also said if the light comes up again bank 2 would need to be done.

The light had come back on and i bought a 30 dollar engine light reader. ( they charged me 80 bucks just to read it)

Fault code p0100 o2 sensor i googled it.

So where should i buy the o2 sensor from? also since i was not to sure which side was done, i was going to just look for what in newer :)

If it does not say on the mechanic's invoice which was replaced
you may be able to see what is new & what is 10 years old if you look under the car as you suggested.

I normally buy stuff like that on ebay,
when I replaced mine a while ago & bought Bosch which I think should be similar quality to genuine. :cheers:

it is hard to find them not in a pair :(

You said that your mechanic replaced the pair on one bank in your original post so I would just replace the pair on the on the other side. :cheers:

Nearly all ebay sellers , sell them in a pair for the front or pair for the back. Not 1 front and 2 back .

There are sellers selling them as singles but it saves money to buy in pairs.


I would make 100% certain what has actually been replaced then if you have to order the others individually I can't see much other choice.


He may have even only replaced one sensor on one side, I don't know, you will have to have a look or ask clarification from your mechanic if unsure.
