Howdy lads, in preparation before my beloved wags goes to see the "Wizzard" for some Tranny TLC (I am gunna replace the tranny mounts and I just ordered some Mace Unbreakable Engine Mounts - my OEM's are in need of replacing, so need something as stiff at the back).
I don't think Mace do a Tranny mount for 4lk60e, so wondering what would be a good match - keeping NVH in mind ..... but, yeah I know I will get some anyways.
As always thanks in advance for the advice.

I can't see any need for anything heavy for a transmission mount,
mine still has original mount & it is fine, they don't really take much of a flogging.
I personally like the OEM rubber stuff anyway as I'm not so fond of NVH. :lol:
Thanks mate, from what I've read, you can go stiffer on the engine mounts (so I went the Mace product as it still retains a rubber bushing) and keep the OEM rubber on the tranny (but not the other way round).Quote:
