Bugatti Veyron engined VE SS
Hello
Does anyone have any idea if a Bugatti Veyron W16 quad turbo engine could fit in a VE engine bay?. The reason is i know od an old french chap who worked on the EB110 project in the early 90's and says he is considering this conversion in his 06 VE SS. I have seen proof that he did indeed work on the original 3.5 litre V12 quad turbo of the EB110, and he says he could get his hands on a Veyron engine and gearbox as he still knows people at Bugatti. Is this conversion possible without major modification.

If he sits on the back seat it all may fit ,but all I can say is WHY WHY WHY...a cheap motor and box should only cost about 250k sweeeet as bro.

You guys don't buy it do you?, this guy is ****en a wacky engineer with a ton of money. I thought the same, but i believe he is for real.
Re: Bugatti Veyron engined VE SS
With the right amount of money you can do anything but if hes loaded the just by the whole car motor and all.
Re: Bugatti Veyron engined VE SS
Dude, seriously, do not use the same mushrooms for dinner tomorrow. Wheels magazine quoted Bugatti engine costing over 400,000, rims and tyres are 100,000 etc. Although the VE is a piece of engineering............could you really afford to put that engine into a Holden. Secondly.......its 8 litre quad turbo w16.........answer is no.
HAVE U SEEN THE SIZE OF THE ENGINE!!!!!!

Mod edit: please don't quote images - it's not good etiquette.
I'm not putting the engine in my car, i don't have the money, where did you get that i'm the one doing the conversion?:)

I would have thought that as he supposedly worked on it and has the VE to take measurements from then he would be in a far better position than anybody here to know as we have more than likely only seen the Bugatti on shows like Top Gear..... :weirdo: Why would you bother?
Re: Bugatti Veyron engined VE SS
It would probably be a lot easier to slip an old MclarenF1 engine in the VE than the w16.
cheers

I reckon that "old french bloke" is having a big lend of you - seriously.
As an alternate suggestion, ask your "old French chap" to give you $100,000 Australian Dollars. Then you can sit down in front of your "old French chap" and shred the whole $100,000 for him. It will be just as exhilariting!!

The "old French chap" may have other motives for trying to impress you....:spew:
