dyno'd at WAPerf today at 326rwhp, happy with that for a stock motor :)
Mitch didn't even worry about tuning it, he said he'd be happy to do it but honestly the AFRs and WOT map were close enough to make no difference.. so we dropped the fuel pressure from 65 down to 58 to make the AFRs prettier and left it at that. said I should just wait til the cam / heads are done and do it all then.
He did however adjust my speedo properly :) so it reads correctly now (was low by 12% ... 3.45/3.08). Although, the car did try to eat a PCM by cutting power to it half way through a burn... think the immobiliser must be to blame there, has a time out on it. :(
picked up a bottle of genuine Holden coolant for it on Mitch's recommendation..
got the thermo fans wired up properly last night.. one relay per fan, 6mm power to relays through 50A circuit breaker. Took me til midnight but they run perfectly now :) kept her cool in traffic and more importantly on the dyno.
Filled the hole in the floor this morning, so much nicer to drive now.. amazing :) I'd forgotten what it was like !
Installed centre console this morning also, that's a pretty major win for the interior although I still don't have a manual shifter surround..
Today I want to try to wire in the stereo, and work on getting the dashboard back together as completely as possible.
