Saw nice Ute on the raod last night just outside the Casino, Atomic Maloo with plates: HSVPWR... I think... Anyone from here? Thing sounded incredible would love to know what work had been done.
Also spotted a VE stato drving down Lygon on my way home, plates were HSV400, thing sounded unreal... very nice cam. I know its not a UTE but still would love to know whats going on under the bonnet.

After seeing all these hot utes, I think it's time to get rid of the sedan and get myself into one.
Guys I have a vz ss ute and have noticed in pics that guys are taking the engine covers off. What does this do and is it safe?
Pretty sure there is nothing wrong with taking the engine cover off...its just for looks i think. I lot of guys dont like them and believe they trap in heat which isnt a good thing...so by taking them off people believe they are letting their engine breath a little better.Quote:
