You'd have to be the last person on the forum to not know that's coming later in the year.

I've read various threads where this was sounding likely, but I wasn't sure it was definitely the case.

This is all just guess work and speculation on my behalf, of course.
I heard today that the F series HSVs will be released next month. I asked if they will be called F series and how Ford will feel about it. He said yes and that the current model is E series and Mercedes hasn't complained.
Advised that the GTS will have the blower and Senator and R8 will be able to option up the LSA motor. First production run the LSA only on GTS but available on the other two on subsequent production runs.
Suggested that the number wouldn't be any higher than 340 on the boot lid, but I think this was speculation rather than him knowing the final kw rating.
I am not sure how accurate this information is, just passing on what i heard, but I am excited at the prospect of a Senator with LSA and 6 pot brakes.

If the bit about 340KW is correct I suspect it is a case that the standard LS3 is going to 340KW and the LSA models will be known as something like GTS 340 LSA, yet be putting out presumably the 410-430KW as per the LSA in the CTS-V and ZL1.
Something would be seriously wrong if the LSA was only putting out 340Kw...
Cheers, Matthew

No different to Ford stating the GT has 335. We all know thats a complete understatement.

Yeah but due to budget restraints didn't put the RWKW badge after it!

No lsa in senator and definitely not r8.
34?d badge on non lsa models.
Lsa model to be 400 and something and 700 plus nm on official specs.

Indeed. Funnily enough about what the w427 did with more rubber in cool weather

This bloke lead with the line that the R8 could be had with a blower in VF form. I was a little surprised to say the least. When I asked if it will have the 400 odd kw that the caddy and comaro put out, that's when he said it won't say anymore than 340 as the number (with blower).
I had only said I am looking to get into a hsv when vf comes out when he said the Clubby could be had with a blower. If that is what they are telling potential customers now they are not doing themselves any favours if it turns out to not be the case.
Sounded like he new some things but might have got his wires crossed on the detail.

Should not listen to what most dealers say.

I read somewhere about the gt having some initial boost thing that ups the power to about 385kw before it drops back down and that is why they have the lower figure?
Don't know how all that works but they sure seem to have more than 335...

Initial boost thing is the harrop htv1900.
The only things that drops back is the number on the badge.
They are bloody awesome mechanically. World class.
Lsa has to bloody good in vf hsv to compete.
