Excellent, I think those pics could've been taken at the Fishermans Bend track. They were EXCELLENT days, there weren't nearly as many rules & regulations as there are today. I can remember at the Fisherman's bend strip standing only about 10' (no barriers!) away from AA fuelers when they took off from the line!
Ron Harrop would've been there, things like a Rolls Royce Merlin powered Holden early model (FX/FJ) with driver's head poking out through the back window, & Dave Bennett was a runner in his HR Premier.
I've forgotten a lot of stuff, but they were very good days.

The car that I pictured was in the first series of Miami Vice
& was actually a C3 Corvette roadster with a fiberglass Ferrari looking body on top of it. :yup:
