Ziggy that grill is different...i think i like it :goodjob:
THE idea is good but the little circle behind the ss looks funny and the SS wants to be a bit bigger IMO
My MY9.5 A6 SSV ute, meaning it has the L76 with AFM (now turned off due to mafless tune). Mods in order of occurrence are:
- HSVi steering wheel and A6 knob (red highlights)
- Beesting aerial (from AussieTone)
- DTM Shine rims with Kumho Ecsta Spt tyres (20x9 with 245 front, 20x10 with 275 rears, supplied by Black Diamond)
- lowered with King SSSL and Monroe GT short body shocks all round (by Black Diamond's boys)
- 28% tint on side windows, 15% rear
- 1 7/8" ceramic coated Pacies, 100cpsi Ballistic cats and 3" KPM s/s system
- flat hardlid, no locks or anything to spoil the lines
- Dus OTR
- Chev's mafless tune
Due to my disabilities I am getting linear actuators (basically battery powered rams) to open/close hardlid and tailgate for me. Wiring is being done for them and my reversing camera tomorrow, actuators for hardlid should arrive very soon and the tailgate one not too far down the track.
The KPM system again sounds great (as it did on my sedan which is why I had to have another) and it, the Dus OTR and Chev's mafless tune all work great together. My A6 SSV sedan was I'm pretty sure the highest bolt-on L98 at Chev's and even though the ute only had 1800km on it when tuned and dynoed it's already within a bee's dick!!

Your car is suffering the same prob as my VE karma maloo, the plastic body parts and the metal are 2 different colours, it sucks and cost Holden $15000 to fix.
i didn't notice the 2 different colours... musn't be to bad.... where should i be looking? will be another mismatch soon when the passenger side panel is resprayed because of some scumbag keying the ute on the back wheel arch on the pasenger side...:flipoff:
$15,000!!!! How??? Mismatch between plastics and body is a well known issue on all cars to some degree and has been discussed on here before. The worst case I ever saw was on a $100,000+ Lexus at the Melbourne Motor Show last year. No doubt accentuated under the lights but if they can't get it right on an expensive "show" car what hope do Holden have?
See my answers in your General Automotive thread on same. As I said there, PM Black Diamond (John) re price for lowering as he did mine and he and his guys are great. I doubt you'll find anyone doing better for LS1 members.:goodjob:
Yep, rolled to the max and still very, very occasionally scrape with full tank of petrol. Haven't carried any significant load since rolled but assume any half decent load would lead to scraping.
Wonky, do you know the offset of your wheels?
Ute looks great btw.
