thats what I'm saying, from what I can see, it just looks like the old 8 inch wide Redline rims to me. Unless they means staggered tyre setup.

They had no choice but to stick with the current set up, the gen V is not ready yet, can't have the same motor in the Holden range as the HSV range. I'm sure they could have strangled an extra 5Kw outta the L77 though.

Dunno if you would notice from the side if it had 245 vs 275 tyres on it.

Pretty bad not to be able to make any gains since 2006 though. A the risk of protecting HSV which is a much smaller market. Should have dropped a detuned LS3 in the SS and made HSV s/c their engine(s). If Ford can do it. Just sayin..

Works for those in the used car market as the arse falls out of resale. It's only a tune away from improving them anyway
