yup.... bought my youngest one as her 1st car. She wanted a shitbox MG.. ya know shiny spokewheel jobbie
that was 30 years old. I got a good deal on an MX5 as they bloke who had it was burning out clutches
by resting his foot on the clutch pedal.. and had gone and bought an auto Mazda something else.
did a clutch, serviced it and she drove it 'til she had kids 4-5 years later (and got more for a trade-in on a HRV than we paid for it)

My misses one is 12 years old with the electric hardtop and still looks brand new.
She often gets comments about her “new” car.
