Just bought a Stato today
Tungston, v8 with grey leather seats
Add another to the list of Brisbane barges.
Running gear is still stock, except for a "sports" exhaust from the previous owner. Budget has go towards the in car entertainment.
Plans for a new set of wheels (ROH Monaco 18s) and a visit to PT for an edit and the usual mods.

The *BBB* project seems to be coming along nicely guys....... but surely this is not as hard as it looks...... I mean there have been numerous barges out there trying to achieve this but so far none have managed what you have accomplished. I find this a bit weird, and all from 190 RWKW!!!! Are there any other barge owners out there that are going to step up to the *BBB* challenge any time soon........
You have to admit this is really a very good effort considering it is the most luxurious drag racing car I have witnessed. Forget Chilly reading the paper, I think M12 is able to conduct business at any place, any time now!!!!
And from what I hear there are a few more goodies to be olted on in the coming week :yup: the rest of the QLD LS1 team with commodores will have to start pulling their fingers out else this luxury liner will be sailing past them!!!!!
Well done to all involved. The comfiest racer that can kick the arse of HSV's and Ford's finest as they roll off the production line - love it!!!!!!!

the BBB definately has a few ls1s heading for more mods, its like a disease having a barge near you down the 1/4 :yup:

A lot of the other fast barges were sold (or crashed)
Fixel is in retirement but has threatened to return, Mrs Statie has a new barge but is keeping quiet about the mods so far (and STILL no photo's!!), Ant broke his and now bought a frog (green VY SS). There is a VERY nice one from JRgrange who was at the nats showing how its done. JUst look back through this thread, HEAPS of very nice barges and some quick ones too.
Leatherman: im really hurt. His is "the luxurious drag racing car I have witnessed."??? Whats MINE you cheeky thing. Thats only a lowly stato not the true luxury of a Caprice.

Maybe i should get Markone2 to pedel the barge for me one day and see what a good driver can do. 300+rwkw vs 190rwkw should see me safe for a while though.
