Hi
To: jkgmh, I told you to stop viewing my CCTV system!
Does it actually say that the car is going to be released or is it just a rumour as such?

GTSRVF
I don''t...
the rear wing is an abomination totalling destroying the looks of the car
(these days we don't need a shove it up ya bum false piece of auto design to show it means business)
the front looks better but the false plastic lip thingy is pox...
geez these designers need to go look at an M3 or AMG to see what is tuff!
imho of course :)
My god that yellow thing is an abomination. Im trying to zoom in to see if there is the obligatory Asian super hero figures glued to the dash.
As this is the final Commodore it would have been nice if the car actually wore the Commodore badge as its predecessors (except VE)
Hi
I know in Victoria that two dealerships have three deposits each and another dealership has two deposits. Garry & Warren Smith in Oakleigh would only take deposits if you had purchased at least three new Hsv's from them. Another dealer said they wont take more than three deposits in total and weren't accepting anymore.

These were an awesome car back then and are still an awesome car now.
I remember when I was about 12 my old man had a vc wagon with a starfire 4 in it. To me it looked like a 202/3.3 blue motor with two cylinders missing.
30 years later and I have never seen another one.
My dad had a maroon one of these with the maroon velour interior when I was a young bloke. Except in the UK we called them a Vauxhaul Carlton. 2 litre 4 cylinder. I *think* the Opel versions (rekord and commodore) has sixes. After the horrible plastic seats of the Austin mini and Marina we had in the past, the Carlton's velour always felt a bit special.
If I recall correctly we layer had an estate (wagon) version in metallic brown but I don't remember much of it so we mustn't have had it long.
I remember lusting over the late 80s Vauxhaul Senator when it arrived (we never had one sadly).
What happened to replacing the whip aerial with the shark fin one??
Wonder if any other changes will occur now until closure which are just MY changes. I know that there will be to special models released before end of closure
Surely there has to be a V6 revision?
Holden are really keeping their V8 Plans plans (if any) hidden for after 2017. I see overnight there was the official announcement that V8 Market is Dead in Australia blah blah with no real mention of what they are doing to counter the Mustang....
The way the Maloo GTS got divied up will be a guide, probably. I like the idea of the GTSR going to those who have bought 3 or more HSVs prrior. Good way to reward loyalty and not just speculators.
Cheers, Matthew
