Hey Jez, I am waiting on my Phantom SSV manual to arrive next month, gee we have great taste:thumbsup:
Any chance you could renew the pics please?
Cheers Rob
Come on Jezz, there is a blower on your front counter that will bolt straight on:). You know you want to, Had plenty of practice in the last couple of weeks
Nah im not going a blower on this one! Even if there is a Harrop H122 "laying around"
Plans are:
Exhaust
OTR
HDT Custom grind cam (325rwkw last one I installed)
Clutch
100hp Shot of NOS
Should net a nice ~400rwkw. But im putting this all on the back burner. Have to do a few more things to the TT Ute first.
Gave it a little squirt down the track 14.1 @ 102.7mph with a blistering 2.5x 60'
Plenty of time
Jez
was that lane 1 or 2 at the track jez. run in both lanes i guarentee one of them will be about .3or.4 of a sec quicker as one of them has a little hump in there
Put a few little mods on the ute and have a couple more waiting to go on but so far with 1601km on the clock:
Xforce Polished Stainless 1 3/4" 4-1 Extractors
Xforce 3" Highflow Metal Cats
Xforce 3" Twin Stainless Catback
23x 23x 112lsa Cam
ORSSOM OTR
Sounds like it has a bit of a lump to it now
Other goodies to go on once they are painted.
How much power Jezz?
We need to know these things mate!
Hows the TT ute handling it up there in Qld?
sounds like a good ute any pics of the new mods and sound file with the cam in :goodjob:
Not going to be everyones cup of tea but I like it and thats all that matters.

Just have to lower it now so it doesnt look like a 4x4
Jez
How's it idle with that size cam?
A mate of mine had a 232/234 installed and the workshop reckons that with something that size it's gonna be a pig and stall every now and then no matter what you do! :(
Idles great but you have to ride the clutch a bit to get going (I have 3.46 gears) and not use the wrong gear at low speed and it drives perfectly. Try and drive it like a stock or bolt on car and it would be a pig. Pulls well but really starts to shine at about 3800rpms then it will wind to over 6500+ very very quickly :D
