Re: Makeup allover interior :(
easy job to sort out. get onto mike or pierre @ car care products and get them to send out some mint apc and a couple of micro fibre cloths. depending on what surfaces its on a leather brush may be a good idea too as it will get into the texture of the leather/trims.
Re: Makeup allover interior :(
21 year old daughter here. Thankfully she has her own Mazda 2.
The patterned vinyl/plastics seem to be a makeup magnet - think gear shift, steering wheel, switch gear. I use any of the domestic spray cleaner type products and a "soft" nail brush. Spray on heavily (cover floor/cloth seats so that drips do not make a mess) and leave to soak. Spray again and use soft brush (can't be too soft or it will not clean out the fine grain) to scrub. You may want to spray again with cleaner. Clean up with wet cloth and bucket of rinse water. A clean water spray bottle can also assist in clean up.
Getting makeup off headlining etc would be a nightmare. Probably need to steam clean.

Baby wipes seem to get it off - yes I am guilty of getting make up on my car trim haha!

I will give these a try as i now have an abundance of these at home (expecting our first) .
@ WHLS1, it was even worse on the headlining and sun visors in my old VE SS ute as these were black. It annoyed me when i first got our SSV wagon that the A pillars, visors headlniing etc was the (IMHO) ugly beige/grey colour as in the omega wagons, unlike my ute which was all black. The black looked far better, but perhaps holden was onto something with the wagon......
No, doubt it.

Ahhhh yes, not only that, but every summer when the car heats up inside, back comes the fresh smell of vomit. Not so much from babies, but when the kids start eating solids etc..........*shudders*...........lets just say that everything becomes "adult like"

Are people "making up" their hands these days?
Dave, I can think of at least 5 positions that will result in makeup on door trim. Dash and seats as well for that matter.
It's the high heel imprints in the roof lining that a nightmare.
