Re: NG (ZB) Commodore Pre-Production Drive
I was driving past a Holden dealership this evening as they were closing for the day
I noticed the new car manager leaving looking very proud of himself in a brand new VF II HSV
I giggled as I thought to myself...........
"I wonder what he will be driving in 12 months time?"
&
"I wonder if that would even still be a Holden dealership in 12 months time?"
Very sad times ahead! :hide:

Yeah who knows Mick, another Holden dealership on the other side of town
is now selling some ugly looking things called "Halal" or something like it,
there seems to be all sorts of new pox brands coming out on the market these days. :spew:

Re: NG (ZB) Commodore Pre-Production Drive
Its all well and good for us on a Holden/HSV lovers forum to say that Holden dropped the ball on the front drive commodore ZB.
I have plenty of Holden Red flag waver friends but none of them drive Commodores.
And really its only commodore that most of them associate with Holden as they know that anything else from Holden is just crap (mostly Daewoo crap)
Why dont they own a commodore, because at the end of the day Commodores were either too big or too expensive for what you got in the overall package.
I'm one that would fall into the too big bracket but at least I still have my 12 yr old HSV.
My Z Senator only just squeezes into my apartment garage otherwise I would have a current VF2 Senator LSA.
Unfortunately we powerful rear drive lovers are a small minority in todays car buying public.

Most humble apologies Mick,
I must have spelt it wrong.
I just google searched & it's actually "Haval"

They actually look worse in real life,
I think they must have used some sort of photo editing for their advertising pictures,
you know like some of the air brushed glamour pictures they do for magazines.
Have only seen the things out the front of the dealership, none on the roads! :spew::spew::spew:

"Fairlane" was a great selling Australian car. :yup:
