Just a decision that needs to be flagged for the appropriate person who is in a position to make a change.
Can one of the mods let the owner now, if he reads the topic and still sticks by his decision then so be it..

Bit pissed my self Been on the forum for 5 years I shouldn't have beg to be validated I looked at advertising it on the forum it just seemed way to hard to get any questions answered etc so I went in another direction . The mods should just validate u after a period of time and posts etc and based on u don't stirring up trouble etc

How can you be pissed about it when it was stipulated in the rules when you first signed up.
It encourages people to join in on cruises and events, to meet new people who all share a common interest.

If people think you're whoring yourself out just because you send them a PM seeing if they'll throw a nomination your way, you might need to work on your wording. Maybe start with "Hey mate" instead of "Hey big boy"? :stick:

Validation has little to do with verifying Who you are. Validation is about someone vouching that you are a decent person who will be an asset to the forum community.
People who nominate someone else for validation risk losing their validation if the person they've nominated turns out to be a tool, so for the most part users will only nominate people they have met a couple of times.

Re: tapatalk and validation
Just to clarify, Tapatalk is only available to Validated users due to the fact that the banners etc. are not displayed in Tapatalk and as a result it has an impact on banner impressions and in turn financial support to the operation of the forums. There is not a traffic or bandwidth issue, it is purely a matter of rewarding those that get involved in the forum and community whilst striving to make the forums available to everyone for free.
