They're not wasting anytime! I really like them, think they look great! Enforcer looks best I reckon but I wish they'd made one in red!
Looks good... and smart move limiting each to only 125 being produced.
just looks like an dirty old xr8 to me. Wow i want a SUPER pursuit not.y dont these fraud idiots increase power on these so called limited additions if i drove past one of those xr8 i wouldnt even no that they were limited editions they dont stand out enough to me.
My first instinct was to say that the Super Pursuit sounded like a stupid idea, but it makes perfect sense really. What DOESN'T make sense is still having to option leather on a mutha farkin premium vehicle. Idjits.
The Ambrose/Ingall cars are a good idea, but the BA aero kit is starting to show its age (the center area A pillar<--->C pillar is looking super duper AU and old now). Also, the stickers looked cheap and special friend rice-ish, where as they look the ducks guts on the GT/P/Pursuit as they are lowered and have sexier kits.
Fords clearly starting to think, but they need fresh new brains to do it (hint, hint).

Gotta agree with you Chops, that blue colour really looks the goods on the road (that older blue was getting a little common and um ho-hum)
But is a little packaging a way of flogging that nasty green colour?
With regard to the Super Pursuit and leather standard, actually this applies to the entire range, there are quite a few people who do not want leather for whatever reason.
Leather is not so good with kids, dirty clothes (this is a ute, you know, work car..) and some people just don't like the feel.
I have seen several GT-Ps optioned up to well over $80k with no leather. Price was not the issue.
Using the Enforcermobile to sell the yucky green... yeh I can understand that. My local FPV guy has a green ute and GT-P and they have been there a looong time.
As far as the LS2 and BOSS power levels it is interesting to note that neither side are exceeding 300kw. Whether this is a "gentlemans agreement" with the Feds or perceived fear by marketing of persecution by the media it appears to be limiting development at the moment.
Power = Torque * RPM so the only way to keep the maximum power to 300kw is to either reduce the redline or to implement electronic torque limiting. The most obvious example of this is with the Typhoon (one that has a working clutch anyway) that has a very flat torque curve until 4500rpm where it dies off in an almost perfectly linear rate up to the redline of 6000rpm. The LS2 also shows this although not as markedly due to it being NA rather than FI so there is a natural fall off due to induction issues anyway.
I wonder if we are going to end up like Japan where there is a limit that adhered to by manufacturers but easily bypassed after purchase.
e.g. 2009 HSV GTS 300kw/750nm, FPV GTHO 300kw/751nm (gotta be bigger)
where the vehicles produce 295kw @ 3500rpm and 300kw @ 6000rpm
Only time will tell.
We could only hope so.......this xr8 idea is fine for the mums and dads of this world that still think there is some sort of connection between a v8 supercar and a road going xr8..........Quote:

actually their limits were largely ignored by the manufacturers. with most of their (now extinct) super cars they would just limit the quoted power, rather than the real power ;)Quote:
