I priced up my LS3 ssv ute yesterday, pretty pleased that it got the heads up display and the bi-modal. Also found out I get the bonnet vent things which I'd rather not have but I guess it's what easily distinguishes that it's a 6.2. Had a chat about the brake upgrade and not sure about it. It goes from a twin piston caliper to a single 60mm piston caliper with a 345x30mm rotor over the standard 330x30mm rotor. Thoughts? Skeptical over the single piston.
The brake upgrade is the same as fitted to the "Caprice" PPV in the US. Apparently it suffers far less brake fade from repeated stops from 170Km/h. What you lose in pistons you gain in rotor and p[ad surface area contact.Quote:

Haven't seen one yet. Just sat down with a salesman and went through all the information that he had, changes, features and options. From the photos, Slipstream looks good. Maybe something like Delft in the VX, but I think Slipstream might be a little bit lighter.
