When the axles arrive, that will enable final assembly of the rear setup. Which will then enable design, fabrication and install of the fuell cell. Then some final work on the exhaust and we should be good to go
Re: Supercharger for VFSS
My axles FINALLY made it to Toowoomba on Monday. What a fn epic wait. Anyway, moving on. Final stretch now.

"Toowoomba"?..I lived in Toowoomba (Drayton) in the early 60s, went to Harristown High with Doug Schultz who is well known in Speedway Circles & ran a used car yard "Autoland",..do you know him?
Regards, Pickles.

Hi Pickles
I don't live in Toowoomba - I'm in Brisbane. My car is being built by Terry Seng at Paramount Automotive in Toowoomba.
I don't know of Doug.
Small world indeed.

Ah right, then I reckon Terry would know Doug for sure.
Love your thread, Regards, Pickles.

Re: Supercharger for VFSS
We are edging closer and closer to finsihing what has turned out to be an epic build. I had no idea that it would take more than two years. Covid has made it extremely challenging not to mention severe weather events, floods and acid spills.
We are waiting on the 110mm throttle body from Harrop. It was installed initially and then recalled. Issue resolved and now it's on back-order - three weeks.
There are a few diff issues to finalise including the setup for the rear coilovers, and then the final section of the exhaust can be completed from diff to tips. It's a very tight squeeze for the exhaust so some careful design and layout are required.
Then the design, fabrication and install of the fuel tank and we should be good to go.
Re: Supercharger for VFSS
Gee it has taken a long time Dan
sounds like it's going to be an absolute weapon!

Sure has Ed. So many things out of our control. It should go pretty hard lol
Re: Supercharger for VFSS
Here's an update:
The fuel tank has been designed and sent to be laser cut. Not back yet. Then welded and installed
The diff housing etc have been sent to be powder-coated. Not back yet. Then re-assembled/installed
Then the last section of the exhaust system can be completed from in front of the diff to the rear.
Flex-fuel system calibrated.
And then we should be able to turn the key...............
