Bit of a rip there, should be able to do that aftermarket for half the price, easy. I guess you don't always keep the full warranty that way, but at least you don't have to turn your SS into a JDM-style fake carbon whore.

It was mentioned/complained about in the Wheels review. I hate seats with the lever system, you've usually got a choice of two angles which are not quite right.
Pretty much everyone here is buying higher spec models ... well those posting anyway. Maybe it's better on the higher end models ???Quote:

Calais is great seating. SS (same seats as SV6)I thought was really good to.
The Evoke, SV6 and SS only get height adjustment on the seats, the rest get tilt adjustment as well. I've been driving the SV6 for a few weeks and find the seating quite comfortable. The rear part of the seat cushion is lower than the front so I don't feel like I'm sliding off the seat. One thing I did notice is that as the seat gets higher it does seem to tilt slightly flatter, however I generally keep my seat at the lowest setting so it doesn't affect me. I'm not a tall person but I do like to sit lower in the car. Even the lever system for the seat back adjustment is fine for me. It's not as specific as the old wheel system, but pretty close in it's notch settings.
the higher priced models have full power adjustment so the ratchet on those models at least is not an issue.
I dont think they put in the rachet rather than the wheel as a cost saver, I actually prefer it, especially when you want to make a large change such as lay the seat down. it takes forever with the wheel but one movement with the rachet.
I wonder if the HSV guard flutes could be made to fit in the VF. The angle leaning forward is too much for such a thin flute. The VE HSV ones would look a lot better and less tacky.
